WEDDINGS HAVE EVOLVED - IT’S TIME THE DJs DO TOO
We’ve all seen it. The wedding DJ that doesn’t know how to mix. Doesn’t know how to read the crowd. Keeps playing the same songs you’ve heard at the last wedding you went to. And the one before. And the one before that.
I started DJing in clubs, concerts, and parties in college. When I attended started attending more and more weddings, I was floored to see all these DJs that didn’t actually DJ. No mixing. No blends. They’d play the same songs, sometimes in the same order, on the most important day of a couple’s life. So, I pivoted from opening up for Run the Jewels and AWOLNation to weddings, because your wedding deserves a real DJ at the helm.
Over the last decade, I've DJed over 500 weddings. I customize every playlist to the couple. If you want a hip-hop club atmosphere or an all Rolling Stones dance-a-thon, I'll happily put that together for you (yes, both of those situations have occurred, and more - ask me about the time a bride and I coordinated her walk down the aisle to an EDM drop. CHILLS).

EMCEEING
I hosted shows on the radio in the Twin Cities for a decade (KDWB, Go 95.3, Go 96.3, 93X), so talking in front of people, making announcements, and hosting the reception is no problem!
We’ve also all seen those wedding DJs that are cringey on the mic. We don’t do that around here, haha. Every time I crack the mic, it’ll be engaging, purposeful, and fun.
CUSTOMIZED PLAYLIST
Upon booking, you’ll receive a form to fill out. You’ll tell me the genres you like, what songs you want played during special moments, etc. We’ll then meet to finalize the deets! If you need help picking songs for anything, I’m here to help as well.
I make new cocktail hour + dinner and dance playlists for every couple, because every couple has a different taste or vibe! Plus, selfishly, it’s fun.
CEREMONY AND RECEPTION COVERAGE
They must be at the same venue.
Video chats/phone calls before booking are totally cool and encouraged! Let’s get to know each other.
I’m not taking in person meetings right now cuz I’m a new father and still need to be quickly accessible for my daughter and to be able to do baby dishes as soon as the call is over (they don’t tell you about how many dishes you’re gonna have to wash in those “how to be a dad” books).
